ADL Releases SCORM 2004 3rd Edition |
|

Yet another update
For those of you that are looking to stay current with
the SCORM there is a new 3rd edition release to the
SCORM 2004 specification and it is available at ADLnet.org.
If you are already familiar with SCORM 2004 2nd
edition that your best bet would be to read
the "SCORM2004-3rd_ImpactSummary.pdf" also
available from the ADL site. This 41 page document
will give you a list of the updates and changes that
were made in the new version.
Along with the specification release, ADL also
released a new set of test suites, "SCORM 2004 3rd
Edition Sample Run-Time Environment Version 1.0"
and "SCORM 2004 3rd Edition Conformance Test Suite
Version 1.0 ST", and stopped supporting the SCORM
2004 1st edition.

New JCASolutions.com page
Last month we began putting together a section on
the jcasolutions.com website dedicated to relevant
guidelines dealing with the creation of ADL
technologies, SCORM, ILE content, and
metadata.
We will be adding to this section as we
find new articles and guidance that we think will
assist the community. If you have any guidelines you
use or have created that you would like to have
added feel free to let us know.
