New Software
Based on Eclipse Rich Client Platform, this
newly updated version of Reload Editor
supports IMS MD (versions 1.1, 1.2.1 and
1.2.4) , IEEE LOM, IMS CP (versions 1.1.1,
1.1.2 and 1.1.4) as well as SCORM 1.2 and
SCORM 2004 (3rd edition) specifications.

ILIAS LMS Now Supports SCORM 2004 |

New Technology
As announced by our friends at SCORM Watch,
the first open source LMS that supports SCORM
2004 is out. One of its main highlights is
that it permits to run more sophisticated
learning modules as stipulated by the latest
SCORM standard. ILIAS version 3.9 also features:
1) Videos in mediacasts,
2) Manual sorting of category entries,
3) Upload of multiple files,
4) Copyright management including Creative
Commons support,
5) Extension of test system,
6) Improvements of discussion forums,
7) Extended language maintenance, and
8) Extension of LDAP authentication.
